Sony Pictures Releases Pedro Almodovar Collection on iTunes

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Nov. 29 released The Complete Pedro Almodóvar Collection on iTunes, the first time all 19 of the directors’ films have been curated together.

The collection includes new high-definition transfers of 15 of the 19 films, and nine are available in HD for the first time in the United States.

The films included in the collection are Pepi, Luci, Bom; Labyrinth of Passion; Dark Habits; What Have I Done To Deserve This?; Matador; Law of Desire; Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown; Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down!; High Heels; Kika; The Flower of My Secret; Live Flesh; All About My Mother; Talk To Her; Bad Education; Volver; Broken Embraces; The Skin I Live In; and I’m So Excited!

Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! is presented in collaboration with the Criterion Collection. Pepi, Luci, Bom and Labyrinth of Passion are making their domestic debut.

Also available, iTunes will offer extras on a special bundle of the director’s recent releases, The Pedro Almodóvar Iconic Collection, including All About My Mother, Talk to Her, Bad Education, Volver and Broken Embraces

New York’s Museum of Modern Art will honor Almodóvar with a career retrospective from Nov. 29 to Dec. 17, starting with his newest film, Julieta, which is being released theatrically by Sony Pictures Classics Dec. 21.
