Shout! Factory has signed a multiyear agreement with FremantleMedia Enterprises for North American home video and digital rights to distribute all 65 episodes of 1980s cartoon “M.A.S.K.”
The series focuses on the efforts of the top-secret Mobile Armored Strike Kommand in its efforts to fight the villains of V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem). The characters use vehicles with advanced weapons systems and wear masks that give them special powers.
“'M.A.S.K.' has been one of the fan-favorite classic animated series in TV history, with a highly successful presence in many countries across the world,” stated Shout! Factory founding partners Richard Foos, Bob Emmer and Garson Foos.
Shout! Factory has a proven track record distributing ’80s cartoons on disc, having recently released the complete runs of “The Transformers” and “G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.”
