PBS Acquires Home Video Rights to ‘Nature’

PBS Distribution has acquired home video and educational distribution rights to the Emmy-winning public television series “Nature.” The 29th season of the show, which as its title suggests chronicles the natural world, debuted on PBS Sept. 26.

The first film of the season, Cuba: The Accidental Eden, is set to street on DVD and Blu-ray Nov. 9, followed by Echo: An Elephant to Remember on Dec. 7. Additional titles include Bears of the Last Frontier, The Born Free Story, A Murder of Crows, Braving Iraq, Wolverine: Chasing the Phantom, Revealing the Leopard, Broken Tail’s Last Journey and Birds of Paradise.

DVDs of the titles are listed at $19.99 with the Blu-ray at $24. Additional information about the series can be found at pbs.org/nature.
