The fans who helped launch Paranormal Activity from a limited to nationwide theatrical release will get their due on the eventual DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases, Paramount said Nov. 5.

Fans who register by Nov. 9 at www.ParanormalActivityProject.com will have their name listed in the credits on the Blu-ray and DVD releases, in thanks for turning the $15,000 film into a nearly $100 million box office hit.

“The success of Paranormal Activity would not have been possible without the million-plus fans who went to the ParanormalMovie.com official Web site and demanded the movie in their home town,” said Amy Powell, SVP of interactive marketing for Paramount Pictures. “They demanded the movie, and they got it. So now we are giving them credit where credit is due.”
