Infinity Announces Summer DVD Promotion

14 Jun, 2010 By: Alexandra Hammarth

Infinity Entertainment Group is offering select titles at a discount for the summer.

The distributor has slashed 25% and 50% off 30 of its DVDs, including collector’s sets, now through July 7.

“Infinity Entertainment Group wants to support retailers not only through this economic recession, but during what is traditionally a slower sales period for the industry,” said Rick Buehler, VP and sales and acquisitions for Infinity. “As part of this broad-based summer DVD promotion, we’ve selected 30 popular titles and collector’s sets — appealing to a broad demographic — and reduced the wholesale costs 25 to 50%.”

Some of the titles in Infinity’s summer DVD promotion marked 50% off are Devotion: An Unauthorized Tribute to Michael Jackson ($19.98), Rock of Ages: An Unauthorized Story on the Rolling Stones ($14.98), Tribute to Heath Ledger ($14.98) and U2: A Rock Crusade ($14.98).

Titles marked 25% off include America’s Greatest Monuments: Washington, D.C. ($24.98), Bombs, Bullets & Fraud ($14.98) The Judy Garland Show Vol. One ($19.98), Remembering Vietnam/Day of the Kamikaze ($39.98), Rona Barrett’s Hollywood: Nothing but the Truth ($19.98) and Route 66: Season Three Vol. One ($29.98).
