Content from Image Entertainment, Lucasfilm Ltd., MPI Media Group, New Video and others is now available on PlayStation Network’s video delivery service, Sony Computer Entertainment America said Nov. 2.
Cinetic FilmBuff and ContentFilm International also have made new content available on the service, for rent or purchase via the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable or PSPgo systems.
Highlights include episodes of “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” the first two seasons of “Leverage,” The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the online video series “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.”
With 40 content providers, offering more than 10,000 hours of content, Sony says it has the largest library of downloadable video from any gaming console manufacturer. The company said downloads of content from PlayStation Network increased more than 100% in September, compared to the same month in 2008.
