Home Alone

Home Alone is the most-pirated holiday movie of 2013, according to an analysis of BitTorrent sites by CEG TEK International.

According to CEG, at one point during this December Home Alone was being shared across peer-to-peer networks at a rate of nearly 25,000 times a day.

“Few movie genres rival the nostalgia associated with holiday films,” said Jon Nicolini, co-founder and CTO of CEG. “And the popularity we’ve detected asserts these films’ continued relevance as part of our culture.”

After Home Alone, the other top ten pirated holiday films were Arthur Christmas, A Christmas Carol (2009), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000), Love Actually (2003), The Nightmare Before Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York, Bad Santa and The Polar Express.
