DVD and Blu-ray Disc authoring company Deluxe Digital Studios has earned content security accreditations from the Content Delivery and Storage Association (CDSA) for three of its facilities, the companies said May 26.

Deluxe earned the Content Protection and Security Certification for its home entertainment facilities in Burbank, Calif., Bangalore, India and London. Deluxe is the first entertainment services company to earned the accreditations, which required comprehensive content security auditing.

“We believe our successful Content Protection and Security accreditations further differentiate Deluxe from our competitors in the post-production, authoring and digital services sectors,” said Joel Bigley, SVP of Deluxe Digital Studios’ worldwide operations and business execution. “CDSA has validated Deluxe’s world-class security practices, which provide even greater assurances to our customers that the security of their intellectual property is our highest priority.”

Linda Dyson, worldwide director of CDSA’s anti-piracy and compliance programs, said Deluxe’s customers can feel safe turning over their content.

“Deluxe’s achievement of CDSA Content Protection and Security accreditation in these sites reflects its commitment to protecting the rights of major motion picture studios around the globe,” she said. “Deluxe has demonstrated excellence in its content security approaches and execution through successful accreditation.”
