Family entertainment producer and distributor Chorion has partnered with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on the new preschool TV series “Olivia.” Sony will release the series on DVD in international markets.
The deal follows Chorion’s appointment of Sony Pictures as its worldwide distribution partner on “The Mr. Men Show” last year.
“Olivia,” based on Ian Falconer’s book series about an imaginative 6-year-old girl in the form of a pig, premiered on Nickelodeon in January and will air in 20 territories in 2009.
