Universal Studios Home Entertainment has named new VPs in four marketing divisions.
Jeff Ackermann has been promoted VP of TV and catalog marketing. Ackermann’s new position includes overseeing all television and catalog title marketing initiatives for the company; he previously served as director of TV marketing for Universal.
Sandy Choi has been upped to VP of new release brand marketing. The position involves focusing on new feature film titles from Universal Pictures, as well as the company’s DVD Original line of direct-to-video movies.
Paige Lewis has been named the new VP of family marketing, leading marketing efforts for family titles including new theatrical, catalog, TV and DVD Original titles.
Universal also announced Robert Read has transitioned to a new role as VP of HD strategic marketing and franchise management, supervising Blu-ray Disc strategy non-theatrical global franchise management; he previously served for two-and-a-half years at Universal Pictures International Entertainment in London.
