Sony Home Entertainment Executives Swapping Shores27 Apr, 2015 By: Erik Gruenwedel
Veteran Sony Pictures Home Entertainment executives Aodán Coburn and Kim Overall reportedly are relocating to new positions in the United Kingdom and Sony’s Culver City, Calif., headquarters, respectively, as part of ongoing restructuring at the studio.
Irish-born Coburn, worldwide EVP of commercial and operations, will return to the U.K. to head SPHE’s European operations, effective June 1.
Coburn, who has been with SPHE 27 years, previously reported to Matt Brown, EVP of worldwide commercial — the latter announcing his retirement in March.
Overall, who has been SVP of Northern Europe since 2012, is returning to the United States to head a new global strategy team in charge of analyzing consumer behavior.
Prior to her European stint, Overall was managing director for Australia and New Zealand territories. Before that, she held positions at Paramount Home Media Distribution and DreamWorks Home Entertainment.
A SPHE representative was not immediately available for comment.
