Independent television network services company Olympusat has hired former Lionsgate executive Arturo Chavez as GM of its Hispanic-owned and operated networks.
Chavez will head content strategy and help position brands and increase viewership of Olympusat’s five Spanish-language channels. The company recently acquired Hispanic children’s network Sorpresa.
Chavez has more than 20 years of experience in home entertainment, formerly serving as the director of Lionsgate’s Latino Division.
