Mill Creek Changes Management

Distributor Mill Creek Entertainment has promoted Craig Frischman to SVP of sales, and Terry Lipelt to VP of business development, effective immediately. The company also hired Kathy Johnson as its new director of national accounts.

Frischman previously served as VP and will manage all sales and business development activities Mill Creek, continuing to report to president and COO Ian Warfield.

“Craig has been the driving force in developing and growing the account base and revenues since he joined the company in 2005,” Warfield said. “His strategic vision and tactical expertise have proved invaluable in building the company to a leading position in its market segment with double-digit annual growth.”

Lipelt, previously director of business development, will have primary responsibility for the development and penetration of new channels of business as well as strategic growth within Mill Creek’s current base of distribution partners. He will report to Frischman.

“Terry has had a dramatic impact on the expansion of the company’s account base and has brought a strong process to the entire sales team to facilitate effective account prospecting and closing,” Frischman said.

Johnson will be responsible for a number of key national accounts as well as the development of new accounts within a variety of non-traditional channels. She also reports to Frischman. Johnson has spent 20 years in the industry, previously with MTI and Sight and Sound.
