Michele Edelman, EVP of marketing and content strategy for Vubiquity, and past EMA chairman Bob Geistman, EVP of sales and marketing for Ingram Entertainment, will serve on the association’s executive committee as at-large members.

New directors joining the board this year are Amit Balan, head of marketing at Vudu, and Steve Harkins, VP and GM of Baker & Taylor.

Returning board members include Richard Barry, EVP/CMO of Toys “R”Us; Aaron Cherveny, senior video games buyer at Target; Justyn Egert, head of the digital video store at Amazon; Lori Flynn, VP of content for Redbox Automated Retail; Javier Larrinaga, group manager of Microsoft Movies & TV Media Services; Bill Miller, VP and divisional merchandise manager of DVD, Blu-ray and games at Trans World Entertainment; Jason Peterson, CEO of ContentBridge Systems; and Mark Vrieling, CEO of ScreenPlay Entertainment.

“The companies on EMA’s Board of Directors reflect the variety of delivery mechanisms and business models in our vibrant industry,” said Mark Fisher, EMA president and CEO. “Each Director brings an important perspective, and their wealth of experience will benefit the membership as EMA continues to be the forum for the home entertainment industry.”
