Broad Green Pictures, a feature film financing, production and distribution company founded last year, July 28 announced the hiring of two executives.
Los Angeles-based Broad Green hired JoDee Freck as SVP of home entertainment operations and Tania Wood as VP of finance. Freck, who reports to Steve Nickerson, president of home entertainment, is responsible for the mastering, creation and management of product master files and distribution of materials required by partner platforms. Wood is responsible for managing and controlling film budgets for the marketing and distribution teams.
Freck most recently worked for Lionsgate as SVP of mastering & technical services for post-production, supervising the deliveries of titles, including The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Divergent Series: Insurgent; Divergent and the "Twilight" franchise. She joined Lionsgate in 2012 following Lionsgate’s acquisition of Summit Entertainment.
Wood previously held the position of VP of marketing and distribution finance at Overture Films, where she oversaw P&A budgets for both mainstream and specialty releases.
