'JB Smoove: That's How I Dooz It'

Stand-up comics JB Smoove, Jo Koy and Patton Oswalt bring plenty of laughs in three DVD specials, presented by Paramount Home Media Distribution with Comedy Central.

Arriving April 3 is JB Smoove: That’s How I Dooz It, featuring Smoove (The Sitter, We Bought a Zoo, “Curb Your Enthusiasm”) offering random observations and thoughts on a variety of things, from police chases to advice about women. The DVD is uncensored and extended with 15 minutes of material not seen on the Comedy Central special that aired in January. Included in the extras are a backstage featurette and additional footage.

Also due April 3 is Jo Koy: Lights Out, the comedian’s second feature-length special, filmed at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, Calif. In the show, Koy — who has appeared on episodes of “Chelsea Lately” and VH1’s “I Love the ’70s-’90s” —speaks on the joys and struggles of fatherhood, growing up with strong Filipino women, role-playing and more. Special features include a backstage featurette and “Jo Goes to KTLV.”

In his Grammy-nominated special out April 24, Patton Oswalt: Finest Hour, the 20-year stand-up veteran, who most recently starred in Young Adult, discusses the awesomeness of sweatpants and relaunches his attack on KFC Famous Bowls, among other topics. Bonus materials include an encore of the KFC bit, a “Patton’s Pre-Show Superstitions” featurette and a slideshow aptly named “Stuff That Patton Mentions.”

Each special is listed on DVD at $16.99.
