"Circle of Ei8ht"

Paramount Digital Entertainment Oct. 27 launched exclusively on social network site MySpace (www.myspace.com/circleof8) the first three episodes of a 10-part original supernatural thriller series called “Circle of Ei8ht.”

“Circle of Ei8ht” tells the story of a young woman who moves into an historic building, The Dante, where she encounters an assortment of neighbors harboring a mysterious secret that unravels in a chain of deaths and supernatural interactions.

Following the online run, “Circle of Ei8ht” will be available for rent (as a full-length film with additional scenes and an alternate ending) exclusively at select Blockbuster locations, as well as by-mail and through Blockbuster On Demand.

"This is one more indication of Blockbuster's continued commitment to deliver exclusive content to consumers on as many screens as possible, whether that's through our stores, by mail or through our on-demand service," said Bill Lee, EVP and chief merchandising officer at Blockbuster.

The online launch includes interactive content, including hidden clues, an online and mobile game, and material that can be unlocked through game play.
