Walt Disney Internet Group (WDIG) and AT&T Corp. today announced an agreement under which WDIG will license select online content on a nonexclusive basis to AT&T for redistribution via the AT&T Worldnet Service home page (att.net).
As part of the agreement, a variety of WDIG content offerings, including articles, graphics, sports scores and schedules, as well as games from Disney.com, FamilyFun.com and ESPN.com, will be available to AT&T WorldNet subscribers. Content from ABCNEWS.com, including full text news articles, video excerpts, and audio news is already offered on the AT&T Worldnet site as part of a deal finalized in June of this year.
“This relationship supports our commitment to offering Disney.com, ABCNEWS.com and ESPN.com content across a variety of distribution media outlets and platforms,” said Larry Shapiro, EVP, business development and operations, WDIG.
