21 Aug, 2007 By: Billy Gil

TS Production LLC has partnered with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution to deliver the bestselling self-help film The Secret through video-on-demand (VOD) and pay-per-view (PPV), starting Aug. 31.

The deal gives access to the film to cable operators across the United States and Canada, as well as other providers such as DirecTV, Dish (Satellite PPV), Verizon, AT&T (IPTV VODs) and certain hotel chains. Warner will promote the release with on-air TV spots, print ads, ads in interactive program guides, and direct mailings to cable, satellite and IPTV subscribers nationwide.

In some markets Warner will include the special features: “The Science of The Secret,” which delves into the science behind the film's message; “Discovering The Secret,” about the idea's origin; “Revealing The Secret,” a making-of featurette; and a daily visualization tool, “The Secret to You.”

The Secret, written and produced by Rhonda Byrne, was initially released in March 2006 as a Web-based, pay-per-stream film and DVD. The book form of The Secret has sold more than 6 million copies.
