Warner promotes Sass30 Jan, 2006 By: John Latchem
Warner Home Video has appointed Ronnee Sass to the newly created position of VP of publicity and promotion for theatrical catalog.
She moves up from her post as executive director of publicity and communications and will continue to create and direct all publicity campaigns for the theatrical catalog division — including all new-to-DVD, made-for-video and catalog titles.
Warner maintains the world's largest film library with more than 6,500 titles.
Sass joined Warner in 1995 as manager of publicity and two years later was involved in promoting the new technology that put movies on DVD.
She has worked on campaigns for such classic releases as “The Wizard of Oz,” “Gone With the Wind,” “Citzen Kane” and “Casablanca.”
