Warner Promotes Parker

George Parker has been appointed executive director of theatrical catalog marketing at Warner Home Video.

Parker moves up from his post as director of theatrical catalog marketing. He will continue to oversee all new-to-format marketing, including strategic, product, promotional, and retail marketing. His new focus will be on made-for-video and new product line introductions.

Parker will continue to report to WHV's Senior Vice President Catalog Marketing, George Feltenstein.

“George's unique talents and dedication have been key elements in keeping Warner Home Video the leader in theatrical catalog,” Feltenstein said.

Parker joined WHV in 2001 as director of family entertainment, working on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and a number of preschool brands, including “Real Wheels,” “Baby Looney Tunes,” Scholastic's “Magic School Bus,” “Teletubbies” and other PBS franchises.

Since Parker assumed the director of theatrical catalog marketing post in 2003, WHV marketing successes include special edition releases of A Christmas Story, The Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, and King Kong.
