Warner Pops Out Digital 'Drew'

Warner Bros. Digital Distribution has made available an exclusive digital version of Nancy Drew for on-demand and download as part of its “Movies That Pop” line.

Nancy Drew: Drew's Clues immerses fans into the movie through special clues, trivia and behind-the-scenes secrets that test viewers' detective skills.

The film stars Emma Roberts as the famed teenage detective. The “Movies That Pop” version is offered day-and-date with the March 11 DVD release of the film.

“As evidenced by consumer research and performance metrics, a simultaneous release across all home entertainment platforms is most effective,” said Michele Edelman, VP of marketing for Warner Bros. Digital Distribution.

The on-demand version is available to 61 million customers of Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Charter, Cox, Cablevision, Verizon FiOS, AT&T U-Verse, DirecTV and Dish Network. Digital distribution is available through iTunes, Amazon Unbox and Xbox Live.

The “Movies That Pop” brand launched in December 2005. Titles released under the banner include Batman Begins, March of the Penguins, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and V for Vendetta.
