Warner Home Video's 'Rock Star' Bows on VHS and DVD Jan. 22

Warner Home Video (WHV) unleashes Rock Star, starring Mark Wahlberg (Planet of the Apes, The Perfect Storm, Three Kings) and Jennifer Aniston (TV's "Friends," Office Space, Picture Perfect) on VHS and DVD Jan. 22.

The Rock Star DVD will be presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio and 16x9 widescreen format and includes the following special features:Feature-length commentary by director Stephen Herek and writer John Stockwell; a making-of featurette; music video by Everclear; HBO: First Look special; cast/director film highlights; English and French (dubbed in Quebec) languages; English, French and Spanish subtitles.

Rock Star is rated "R" (for language, sexuality and some drug content) and will be available for rent on VHS and for sale on DVD, priced at $19.98 SRP ($14.95 MAP).

Rock Star tells the story of a copy machine repairman hired to be the newlead singer for his favorite band.

Also available Jan. 22 is James Dean, the TNT Original starring James Franco (this winter's Deuces Wild, City by the Sea and May 2002's Spider-Man) and MichaelMoriarty (TV's "Law & Order," Along Came a Spider, Shiloh). James Dean was directed by MarkRydell (On Golden Pond, The Rose).

James Dean will be available for rent on VHS and for sale on DVD, priced at$19.98 SRP ($14.95 MAP).

The James Dean DVD includes the following special features: Theatrical trailers of Rebel Without a Cause and Giant;cast/director film highlights;English, French and Spanishsubtitles; Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio.
