Warner Home Video Reorganizes Management8 Jun, 2005 By: Thomas K. Arnold
Five months after a global management restructuring, Warner Home Video is realigning its domestic management team so that key managers can better focus on the studio's three core home video categories.
Jeff Baker has been named SVP and GM of theatrical catalog, Jeff Brown has been tapped as SVP and GM of franchise and Mike Saksa is SVP and GM of theatrical new release.
All three report to Ron Sanders, EVP and GM, North America.
Baker was previously SVP of sales, Brown was SVP of worldwide marketing and Saksa was SVP of domestic marketing.
Bobby Gerber, previously VP of sales, has been promoted to SVP of sales and will report to the new domestic SVP/GM troika. He and his sales team will provide sales support across all three categories.
Two executives have left the studio: Tina Martinez, SVP of sales administration, and Mike Radiloff, VP of catalog business.
“This is to focus on specific categories,” says James Cardwell, president of Warner Home Video.
In January, Warner launched a new “global business transformation” initiative by reorganizing parts of its executive team and creating a new business unit. Among other changes, marketing EVP Mark Horak took over responsibilities for Asia Pacific, in addition to Latin America and Mexico.
