Wal-Mart has debuted DRM-free mp3 music downloads at Walmart.com, at 94 cents a track or $9.22 per album.
Wal-Mart said it has hundreds of thousands of songs available, including tracks from Universal and EMI Music. Albums from such artists as Norah Jones, Keith Urban and Daddy Yankee are specially priced at $7.88, while Slippery When Wet by Bon Jovi and Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent are $5.88 each.
WMA-format tracks will still be available as well at Wal-Mart's Web site at 88 cents each track.
