Wal-Mart and Sequoia Media Team Up to Make Movies8 Aug, 2007 By: Kyra Kudick
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Sequoia Media Group Aug. 7 launched myMovieMaker. The program transforms digital photos into DVD movies at the photo kiosks in Wal-Mart stores.
Consumers can create DVD movies, similar to traditional slideshows, by selecting a theme, adding personal photos and choosing a movie soundtrack. More than 50 themes are available for events such as weddings, vacations, graduations, holidays and many others.
The DVD includes a personalized case cover, DVD label and thumbnail insert. Prices start at $12.86 and can contain up to 40 photos.
