VSDA Show Sponsors Announced

Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, MGM Home Entertainment, Paramount Home Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, HBO Home Video, First Look Pictures and ADV Films are the first studios to become official sponsors of Home Entertainment 2002, Presented by Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA).

Buena Vista Home Video and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment are also among the first major studios to commit to open exhibitor suites accessible to all attendees at the show.

The confab's official show sponsors also include video industry companies Rentrak Corp., Variety.com, Videobits.com and Directors LTD.

ADV Films, Central Park Media, Cloud Ten Pictures, Grizzly Adams Productions, Image Entertainment, Iron Home Entertainment, Media Blasters, MTI Home Video, New Concorde Home Video, Vanguard Cinema, Wellspring Media, Woodhaven, and Xenon Entertainment are among the first independent studios to join the show with open exhibitor suites.

Slated for July 16 to18 at the Rio Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, this year's annual VSDA event will offer exhibitors and attendees a new and exciting show format, contained under a single roof. The open exhibitor suites will be on the third and fourth floors and will be open to all attendees.

“We are delighted and appreciative to all of our show sponsors and especially to these first major and independent studios who have stepped forward with early commitments to support retail attendees,” said VSDA president Bo Andersen. “They bring the excitement of our industry to the event. Attendees tell us each year how much they look forward to the studio activities at the show.”

Home Entertainment 2002 Presented by VSDA is the largest and most comprehensive home entertainment event in the industry. It will feature more than 150 exhibits and open exhibit suites, a comprehensive educational conference program of “need-to-know” business seminars, studio/spotlight presentations, program suppliers, buyers from a broad range of storefront and online retailers, filmmakers of the future, digital delivery decisionmakers, along with evening parties and other networking events.
