Organizers of the VSDA's Home Entertainment 2003 have planned a busy party schedule for attendees in between seminars and business meetings at this year's event taking place July 29 to 31 at The Venetian hotel in Las Vegas.
“All-access” badge attendees will be able to attend the following:
An “Indy Label Luncheon” July 29, to celebrate independent and arthouse films, sponsored by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, Hart Sharp Video, Koch Lorber Films, Paramount Home Entertainment and Showtime Entertainment/Sundance Channel Home Entertainment;
A poolside party on the evening of July 29, sponsored by Columbia TriStar, Paramount, Playboy Home Video, and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment;
A “Latin Fiesta Breakfast” July 30, focusing on the expanding market for Latino films and sponsored by Ventura Distribution;
An “Adult DVD Interactive Party,” cocktail bash, 6 to 8 p.m. July 30, sponsored by Hustler Video, Private North America, Vivid Video and Wicked Pictures;
“A Night in Venice,” party, 8 to 10 p.m. July 30, sponsored by Columbia TriStar, Paramount and Warner Home Video;
And a “Jump-Off After Party”10 p.m. to midnight July 30, sponsored by Ground-Zero Entertainment.
All access badges for the conference entitle the holder to attend all events, meal functions, parties and seminars and provides entry to exhibitor suites. The cost is $345 for VSDA members, $425 for non-members. Passes for access to exhibit suites and seminars only are available at $95 for VSDA members and $105 for non-members.
