VSDA Announces Award Nominees

3 Jun, 2002 By: Hive News

The Video Software Dealers Association (VSDA) has announced a slate of 18 Home Entertainment Awards categories – including some new honors unique to the packaged media industry – and 84 video nominations.

Each year at its annual trade event, VSDA honors its members' favorite movies programs and games available on home video. To be eligible for nomination, videos must have been released between Dec. 1, 2000 and March 31, 2002. A blue-ribbon member committee of retailers, distributors and trade journalists determined the 2002 award categories and selected the nominees.

Winners will be determined by ballots to be sent to all regular VSDA members (retailers and distributors) by June 7. Completed ballots must be received by June 26. Winners will be honored during a special Awards Celebration July 18 at Home Entertainment 2002, presented By VSDA in Las Vegas.
