Voom HD Networks Comes to Home Video Through Amazon.com

High-definition programmer Voom HD Networks is releasing its first home videos through Amazon.com's DVD on-demand service.

Nearly 50 titles from Voom's library of high-def cable programming will be available from Amazon.com beginning in summer 2008, including content from such channels as Rush HD, Treasure HD, Gallery HD, Ultra HD, WorldSport HD, Gameplay HD and Equator HD.

“We are very excited to work with Amazon.com to bring an excellent selection of Voom HD Networks' titles … to a vast retail audience and enthusiasts looking to purchase our unique content online,” said Greg Moyer, GM of Voom HD Networks.

Amazon.com will offer select episodes from such Voom shows as “Behind the Label,” “Ultra Eye,” “Chasing History Home,” “Earth Diaries,” “Art in Progress,” “Gallery Tours,” “Nomads,” “The North Face Expeditions,” “Pororoca” and “Monster Trucks.”
