7 Mar, 2004 By: Meryl Schoenbaum

Kids love animals, and May is National Pet Month. That makes it the perfect time to showcase kidvid titles that focus on pets and animals.

The number of pet-owning households in the United States has increased by more than 10 million since 1992, according to the 2003/2004 National Pet Owners Survey conducted by the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association.

The survey noted that 64.2 million U.S. households reported owning a pet in 2002, compared with 54 million households a decade ago. That's a lot of households that could benefit from and enjoy the latest animal-related kidvid titles being offered by suppliers.
