Digtial watermarking company Verance has named Peter F. Weiss its new SVP of sales for its ConfirMedia broadcast verification and media information service.
Weiss will manage sales and customer support operations throughout the country via regional offices in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Weiss will be responsible for sales and licensing of media tracking and content use management products and services to advertisers, ad agencies, media buying services, broadcasters, TV and film studios, program syndicators and record companies and other targeted creators and owners of broadcast content. Weiss will also serve as a member of the Verance executive management team.
Weiss previously worked at the advertising firm Grey Worldwide in Tokyo, Dusseldorf, Mexico City and, most recently, in Grey Worldwide's corporate headquarters in New York. During his 23-year career, Weiss has built successful brands for major global marketers, developing, managing and integrating marketing and media initiatives for about 100 brands, all over the world, according to a Verance spokesperson.
