By Kyra Kudick | Posted: 08 Oct 2008

A study by iSuppli Corp. shows that more than half of all automobiles sold in the United States next year will offer iPod connectivity.

For 2008, iPod integration options were expected in 39% of vehicles in the United States. For 2009, that number will climb to 58%.

Integration with other portable media players will be offered through a USB interface option in 33% of U.S. autos, up from 16% in 2008.
