Universal Rejoins VSDA21 Mar, 2006 By: Jessica Wolf
Universal Studios Home Entertainment is back in the Video Software Dealers Association fold.
The studio has renewed its membership with the video trade group after a hiatus. USHE will participate in the VSDA's retail advisory committee and support other VSDA supplier-retailer initiatives.
“Universal's decision to renew its VSDA membership is a direct result of the VSDA's successful track record in championing our industry, be it through its legislative and industry advocacy, its convention of its forums, said Dick Longwell, EVP of sales and category management for USHE.
The VSDA, of course, is delighted USHE is back on the books.
“The strength any trade association is the breadth of its membership within its industry,” said Bob Geistman, VSDA Chairman.
