UltraViolet Launches in Canada, BBC Announces First U.K. UV Titles

Study: Blockbuster Rated Superior to Netflix for Disc Rentals

Blockbuster is better than Netflix for by-mail disc rentals due in part to the venerable rental brand’s ability to match Netflix in the number of titles offered (100,000) and speed of delivery (about one day), while offering superior quality of content, according to a new study.

Hulu Plus Gets Nickelodeon Content

Hulu Plus, the subscription video-on-demand unit of ad-supported Hulu.com, Oct. 9 said it is streaming current season episodes of Nickelodeon programming, including new episodes of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “The Penguins of Madagascar,” “Winx Club,” “Robot & Monster,” “The Legend of Korra” and “T.U.F.F. Puppy,” among others.
