Ulsamer to Depart B&T6 Nov, 2003 By: Holly J. Wagner
James S. Ulsamer will retire as president of Baker & Taylor's retail division at the end of the year, the company announced.
"As expected, Jim has retired from his position after having enjoyed a 30-year career at B&T that spanned management positions in both the retail and institutional markets,” said Richard Willis, who took over as CEO of Baker & Taylor following its acquisition in July. “Jim has been instrumental in leading us through the transition after the purchase of Baker & Taylor by our new owners. We are grateful that he agreed to stay with us through this integration period and wish him well."
"I've had an incredible career at B&T. I love the company and its people, and have enjoyed my time here and the contributions I've been able to make. I look forward to spending more time with my family, and over the next few months I'll be working closely with management to ensure a smooth transition," Ulsamer said.
