Buster Keaton's transition from silent films to “talkies” will be covered in TCM Archives: The Buster Keaton Collection, streeting Dec. 7 from Warner Home Video.
The two-disc set prebooks Nov. 9 at $39.92.
Included on the two discs are the silent films The Cameraman (with a remastered score) and Spite Marriage (with its original 1929 Vitaphone musical score) as well as Keaton's first talkie, Free and Easy.
Extras on the discs will include the all-new documentary So Funny It Hurt: Buster Keaton and MGM, photo montages from the two silent films, and audio commentaries from film scholars and Keaton experts on the silent films The Cameraman and Spite Marriage.
