TNR Expands into Atlanta Market

30 Nov, 2006 By: Jessica Wolf

As part of aggressive expansion, DVD vending company TNR Entertainment is taking on the Atlanta market for the first time.

The dollar-per-night rental company recently announced plans to quadruple its number of The New Release-branded kiosk outlets by the end of 2007 and TNR has just completed the installation of 170 new kiosks in Kroger grocery locations in the Atlanta area.

It's the cornerstone of TNR's expansion plans, said Jeff Karbowiak, Chief Operating Officer of TNR Entertainment.

“The growth and vitality of Atlanta and surrounding areas make it a ideal choice for one of our largest geographic market installations,” he said. “This major new market for TNR is not only a significant extension of our strong relationship with Kroger, but it also allows us to introduce The New Release's unmatched convenience and value that automated DVD rentals can deliver to more of their customers.”

The new kiosks are located throughout Atlanta, and in Canton, Decatur, Douglasville, Dunwoody, Fayetteville, Gainesville, Jonesboro, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Newnan, Roswell, Smyrna, and Tucker, among other sites.
