TLA in Distribution Deal

Tartan Video and TLA Releasing have a new distribution deal under which TLA Releasing will distribute all video product from Tartan Video.

Tartan expects to release between 35 and 40 films per year on disc and tape, with 10 to 12 of the films released theatrically, Tartan president Andrew Schreiber said.

Tartan Video's first releases are scheduled for October, starting Oct. 12 with the 2002 Cannes Golden Camera winner, Carlos Reygadas' Japon, followed Oct. 14 by the documentary Bush's Brain, which introduces the world to a man known as “Bush's Brain, the most powerful political figure America has never heard of, the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain of today's presidential politics.” Titles to follow include Asian films Old Boy, Sword in the Moon, Anatomy of Hell, Tale of Two Sisters, Phone, Doppleganger and Memento Mori.
