Time Warner Inks With Nielsen

19 Aug, 2009 By: Billy Gil

Time Warner and The Nielsen Co. have signed a seven-year deal, the first of its kind, to bring together all Nielsen services subscribed to by all Time Warner businesses under one contract.

The agreement would apply to Time Warner broadcast, cable, syndication business units and affiliates, including Turner Broadcasting, The CW Television Network, HBO, Warner Brothers Domestic TV Distribution, Time Inc., RET Media and station WPCH. Services include national and local television ratings, Internet and mobile measurement, segmentation and targeting from Nielsen Claritas, consumer engagement from Nielsen IAG, and media analysis from Nielsen IMS.

“We appreciate the opportunity to continue our partnership with Nielsen,” said Bruce K. Rosenblum, EVP of Warner Bros. Media Research. “Having them as a member of our team, particularly in this tough economic climate, helps us better manage and make the ever-increasing amount of information more meaningful to the various business units throughout Warner Bros.”
