17 Sep, 2007 By: Billy Gil

Thinkfilm and CinemaNow have entered into a licensing agreement to make Thinkfilm titles available for download on the online service.

Films now available from the independent distributor include The King (starring Gael Garcia Bernal), Farce of the Penguins (written and directed by Bob Saget) and Born Into Brothels (Oscar-winning documentary on children born in Indian brothels). Additional titles at www.cinemanow.com will appear in the coming weeks, including The Aristocrats (with Saget and other comedians), Candy (starring Heath Ledger) and Murderball (Oscar-nominated documentary about quadriplegics who play full-contact rugby).

“We're excited to make our library of films available through CinemaNow” said Marc Hirshberg, COO of Thinkfilm. “We want to make it as effortless as possible for people to enjoy Thinkfilm's movies, and CinemaNow helps us do just that.”
