Superman Gets AOL Web Channel15 Jun, 2006 By: Jessica Wolf
Summer moviegoers eagerly await the return of Superman to the big screen June 28.
To whet that appetite, AOL has launched a free Superman channel of content on its streaming video service In2TV.com, which will run until the end of July.
Part of the Superman channel content available now on the site includes the documentary Look, Up in the Sky!: The Amazing Story of Superman, which arrives on DVD June 20.
This doc offers interviews with Superman stars and directors of the past and present, even sneak peeks at some moments from Superman Returns.
Superman fans can also view episodes from the classic TV show “The Adventures of Superman,” as well as selections from “Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” and the 1980s series about a young-adult Man of Steel, “Superboy.”
Also included on the In2TV Superman channel are episodes from Max Fleischer's Superman cartoons.
AOL and Superman studio Warner Bros. Entertainment are both owned by AOL Time Warner.
