Strawberry Picking Contest

DIC Entertainment, worldwide licensing agent for the Strawberry Shortcake franchise, has teamed up with American Greetings Corp., creator/owner of the brand, for the Strawberry Shortcake Seaberry Beach Sweepstakes national promotion, launched last week.

The sweepstakes, based on 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment's recent home video release Strawberry Shortcake Seaberry Beach Party, will award one grand-prize winner a vacation for a family of four to a Beaches Resort in Jamaica. Ten first-prize winners will receive gift packs, including Strawberry Shortcake sunglasses, a beach towel and a music CD. Fifty second-prize winners will receive the Seaberry Beach Party DVD. The winners will be announced in June.

The promotion, which will be advertised in Nick Jr. Family Magazine, online ads on Nickjr.com and newsletters, is the cornerstone of a national 10-market Meet and Greet Seaberry Beach tour at malls nationwide.

The contest is open to adults in the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec), and may be entered by submitting an entry form available at the Web site www.strawberryshortcake.com/seaberry_sweepstakes/, Nick Jr. Family Magazine and at Meet and Greet locations.
