Stores to Get Something's Gotta Give From Columbia TriStar March 30

26 Jan, 2004 By: Hive News

Hollywood veterans and Academy Award winners Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton star in the romantic comedy Something's Gotta Give, giving way to home video March 30 (prebook DVD Feb. 26, VHS March 9).

The film also features Academy Award winner Frances McDormand, Keanu Reeves and Amanda Peet, and will debut on DVD and videocassette from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

The movie tells the story of Harry Sanborn (Nicholson), a perpetual playboy with a libido much younger than his years. During what was to have been a romantic weekend with his latest infatuation, Marin (Peet), at her mother's Hamptons beach house, Harry develops chest pains. Marin's reluctant mother, Erica Barry (Keaton) — a successful, divorced New York playwright — winds up nursing him in his convalescence. In the process, Harry develops heart pangs for Erica, an age-appropriate woman whom he finds beguiling.

But Harry finds an unexpected rival in his charming thirtysomething doctor (Reeves).

The title will be offered as a single disc in its original theatrical ‘PG-13'-rated version. The DVD will include audio commentary with writer/director/producer Nancy Meyers, Nicholson and Keaton; a Hamptons house set tour with Peet; and a deleted scene.

The DVD is priced at $28.95, and the VHS will be rental priced.
