Starz Entertainment has grabbed five more films through its deal with independent producer Bob Yari. The films will premiere on the Starz and Encore channels this year, as well as Starz On Demand and the Vongo download service.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Starz and are pleased to be able to continue that partnership,” said Yari, who is president of the Yari Film Group. “Being able to offer our content to Starz' subscribers on their various distribution platforms helps us achieve our goals: enabling our films to have a long and profitable life, broadening their audiences as well as their business potential.”

Nancy Silverstone, VP of program acquisitions for Starz, said: “It gives us great pleasure to be able to continue our relationship with Bob Yari. We're excited to showcase his films, each filled with unique casts, on all our platforms.”

The films are Even Money, with Danny DeVito, Kim Basinger, Tim Roth and Ray Liotta; Kickin' It Old School, with Jamie Kennedy; Redline, with Eddie Griffin; Gray Matters, with Sissy Spacek and Heather Graham; and First Snow, with Guy Pearce and J.K. Simmons.
