Spider-Man Sings ‘Mister Ed'

27 Jul, 2004 By: Erik Gruenwedel

Connoisseurs of Spider-Man 2 will be in for a bit of a musical time warp when the film comes to DVD in November.

Vic Mizzy, the 82-year-old creator of TV-show theme tunes for “The Addams Family,” “Mister Ed,” “Petticoat Junction” and “Green Acres,” has added a series of retro melodies and hooks to the film's bonus material outtakes and bloopers.

Mizzy's addition to the DVD release came at the request of director Sam Raimi after reading an article about the veteran composer's release of his first album last year.
