Sony Promotes Catalog With DVD Cash

Some of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's prominent fourth-quarter DVD releases will include a coupon good for $3 off select catalog titles from the studio.

DVDs for Click (due Oct. 10), Monster House (Oct. 24), Little Man (Nov. 7) and The Da Vinci Code (Nov. 14) will include a $3-off in-pack “DVD Cash” coupon that can be used at retail locations through March 31, 2007.

“We want consumers to keep our extensive catalog in mind in addition to their current-release DVD purchases,” said Lexine Wong, senior EVP of worldwide marketing for SPHE.

Titles eligible for the discount include Mr. Deeds, Radio, White Chicks, Christmas With the Kranks, 50 First Dates, The Animal, Rudy, Sense and Sensibility, Bewitched, Darkness Falls, The Master of Disguise, National Security, The Mothman Prophecies, Zathura, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Secret Window, A River Runs Through It, The Forgotten, Spanglish, Big Daddy, Ghostbusters, Hook, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, A League of Their Own, Every Time We Say Goodbye, Joe Dirt, Weekend at Bernie's II, The Natural, Brian's Song, Finding Forrester, Beverly Hills Ninja, I Spy, The Indian in the Cupboard and special editions of Anger Management, Breakin' All the Rules, Blue Streak, Jumanji, Men in Black II and The Karate Kid.
