Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has promoted Mark Orne to executive director, worldwide market research. He will report to Jane Mohon, VP, worldwide media, digital marketing, market research and national promotions.
Orne will continue with previous duties to provide quantitative and qualitative insights for the marketing divisions. His past accomplishments have included leading consumer intent-to-purchase and package testing campaigns for the company’s DVD and Blu-ray Disc releases worldwide. He will now oversee reporting on general industry and consumer trends as well as advise on new technology and new business ventures.
Orne has been with the company since 2002. He previously served as a project director at Lieberman Research Worldwide, managing worldwide entertainment research.
