Shout! Factory is expanding its kidvid libraries later this year with releases of Jane and the Dragon: A Dragon's Tale and Liberty's Kids: The Complete Series.

As seen on NBC, ION, Telemundo and qubo, “Jane and the Dragon” adapts Martin Baynton's popular book series about a 12-year-old girl training to be a knight in 9th century England. Due Aug. 19 (prebook July 22), A Dragon's Tale includes the first five episodes of the animated series for $14.99. Extras include concept art, character profiles and DVD-ROM coloring pages.

The 2002-03 PBS series “Liberty's Kids,” produced by DIC Entertainment, brings to life heroes of the American Revolution through the eyes of three kids who work in Benjamin Franklin's print shop.

All 40 episodes will be available Oct. 14 (prebook Sept. 16) in a six-DVD boxed set at $59.99. Guest voices include Annette Benning, Warren Buffet, Billy Crystal, Michael Douglas, Whoopi Goldberg, Dustin Hoffman, Liam Neeson, Maria Shriver, Ben Stiller, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Michael York, Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf and singer Aaron Carter, who performs the theme song.

Extras include behind-the-scenes footage, a “Mystery Guest” segment, “NewsBytes” from Ben Franklin, and a comparison between past and present.
