Rogers Video Revenue Grew 8.4 Percent in Q415 Feb, 2005 By: Jessica Wolf
Canadian chain Rogers Video experienced an 8.4 percent increase in revenue in fourth quarter 2004, to hit $6.9 million.
Same-store sales increased 2.6 percent year over year, and the chain opened 15 new stores in 2004 to hit 294 locations.
Rogers attributes the strong video sales to an increase in popular titles and higher average revenue per customer visit.
Rogers, which is owned by Canada's cable, media and publishing giant Rogers Communications, also last year began integrating Rogers Video locations to also offer a variety of cable Internet and wireless products and services, the company said.
